1000 Islands Gananoque Boat Line

Cooper Marsh
Cooper Marsh, located on Hwy.#2 near South Lancaster, has plenty to offer nature lovers and outdoor hikers alike. You will find nature trails, marshland, swamps, meadows, ponds and plenty of forest. There is also a visitor centre, offering information about the area and its wildlife. Open year round, Cooper Marsh also offers a viewing tower, camera blinds and picnic areas.
Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary
Any outdoors enthusiast will appreciate what the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary has to offer. Stop first at the visitor centre and collect information about the Sanctuary and its wildlife. Spend the day walking on the many guided nature trails, stop for a picnic, then climb up to the top of the viewing blind and enjoy nature's view. There is also a bike path located within the Bird Sanctuary, perfect for bikers and rollerbladers. Open year round, you will also find cross country skiing, camping and canoeing.
